The Muscular Dystrophy Assoc (MDA) is getting ready for its biggest lock-up event of the year. The 2010 Greater New Haven Telethon Executive Lock-Up Event is taking place on Thursday, August 5th at Cafe Goodfellas in New Haven. We are in need of volunteers to help us during this event. Over 150 executives from the Greater New Haven area will be serving jail time in order to raise bail and be set free.
Volunteers are needed to help:
-MDA staff set up for the event
-volunteer drivers arrest participants at their place of business
-MDA staff sign in those arriving for jail, take mug shots, print photos
-MDA staff sign-out those released for good behavior
-volunteer drivers return those paroled back to their office
-MDA staff clean up once the event has concluded.
All volunteers will be treated to the wonderful lunch buffet being provided by Cafe Goodfellas. All those interested should contact Kristine Cohen, at the local MDA office immediately. (203) 248-6500
